Oops

Forgot to post yesterday… I was a bit preoccupied. (Edit: I just remembered that I had drafted a post with a couple layouts, that I meant to post last night, but forgot… So I went ahead and posted it for yesterday…) I was loading old layouts onto my new, scrapbook only, Flickr account. I have all my photos backed up online (on Flickr, and on Winkflash), but not of my layouts are backed up. If we lost our albums in a fire or something (heaven forbid!), then I could just get them reprinted, and not have to scrap them again. (Which makes my head ache, just thinking about it.)… So I went Pro on that account, and am loading the layouts in full resolution… And that takes a while! *rofl* … When I get all my layouts posted, I will link to it. I will be deleting my old digi-scrap gallery, and going Flickr only. (And getting rid of the domain that the gallery is on.)

We FINALLY shipped that baby quilt I made last month. *hangs head in shame*… I didn’t have a box or boxing tape, and Joe kept saying he would bring some home, and then forgetting. So he finally did on Wednesday or Thursday, and we shipped it on Friday. We sent it priority, so it should be there on Monday or Tuesday… As soon as Amy lets me know that she’s got it, I will post pictures… I’ve already drafted the post, so I just have to publish it.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we don’t get much snow… Well, there is a lot of snow up in the Cascades, but where I live, we don’t get much at all. Usually, we may get an inch or so, 2 or 3 times a year. Usually January is the month we get snow. Rarely we will see it in November and December, but it has happened. We also occasionally get a small amount in February… Back in 2006 I was shocked (and delighted) when we actually got snow in March. I remember how shocked I was, because the year before that we had temps in the upper 60s, low 70s in March.

Well… I am once again shocked… Very shocked… But not so delighted this time. We actually have had SNOW the last couple days… SNOW! IN APRIL!!! Hello! It’s supposed to be spring! I am ready for some sunshine, NOT snow. *grumble, grumble*

I know that isn’t much snow, especially compared to what most of you get… BUT IT’S APRIL! *rofl*

Yesterday we got Alicia’s room emptied. We plan to paint it on Tuesday and Wednesday… I’ll start it Tuesday morning, and Joe will help once he gets home from work. He has Wednesday off, so we can finish it then… I plan on prepping it tomorrow.

Anyway, while taking down the pictures/posters from Alicia’s wall (the girls used to share this room), we finally got around to hanging Amanda’s pictures/posters up in her room… Though now they they are no longer sharing, we need to pick up a couple new posters or something for their walls… So, for your viewing pleasure, here is Pixie’s room:
