For Jared’s Album

Sarah Meyer, one of the designers that I do layouts for, has these new text paths for photoshop elements, and they are way cool!!!… She has the numbers 0 thru 9 in the kit, and it lets you journal into the shape of a number. They are SO EASY to use! I plan on doing a layout for each year, for Jared’s album… Here are the first two.

One Year Old Today

Journaling:

Happy Birthday my sweet little man! I can’t believe you are a year old! At 4:40 pm Daddy and I hugged each other and kissed, to celebrate the time you were born… You were napping and couldn’t join us… This morning I put you on your “Ready, Steady Rider” that you got for your birthday. I wanted to take your picture on it. Well, without me even showing you, you actually got it going with your feet! You went 4 or 5 feet before running into the couch. I was very impressed… Also, with Uncle Rudy’s help, you walked down the hall and back at Grammy’s house… The amazing thing is that he only held onto one of your hands. You usually insist on holding on with both your hands.

Look Who’s Two

Journaling:

Jared, I can’t believe you are two years old. The last two years have just flown by, and you have brought me so much joy. It no longer seems to matter how long it took to become pregnant with you. Now it just seems perfect. I can’t imagine you being any older, or having you at any other time in our lives. That is a lesson I need to learn better… That the Lord knows what is best, and that we need to wait on His time, and not on ours. He has his own time table, that is perfect… But your Mama can be impatient!!! And if I had known just how wonderful it would be to be a Mommy… Your Mommy… It would have made the wait that much more unbearable… Because the last two years have been heaven on earth. They have been filled with hugs and kisses, and your cute little laugh. They have been filled with your intense curiosity and your bright little mind. They have been filled with exciting discoveries, and you learn all about the world that the Lord has created… And I want to say thank you. Thank you Jared, for two of the best years I have ever known. I love you so much sweetie.
